Personal life[edit]
Aarya Babbar is the son of actor turned politician Raj
Babbar and famous theatre personality Nadira Babbar.[1][2] He is the younger
brother of actress Juhi Babbar & brother-in-law of TV Star Anup Soni.
Career[edit]
Aarya Babbar started his film career with Raj Kanwar's Ab Ke
Baras[2] alongside Amrita Rao but that flopped at the box office.[3] He has
worked with stalwarts like Mani Ratnam, Madhur Bhandarkar and Vikram Bhatt.
Also he appeared in films such as Yaar Annmulle, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and
Ready.[4] Aarya Babbar acted in the Bengali film 'Paapi' in 2012 opposite
Prosanjit, Pooja Bharti, and Sayantika. The Hindi version "Paapi"
released on October 11, 2013.[5] In 2013 he also appeared in Punjabi Movie Heer
& Hero opposite Minissha lamba. [6]
Aarya Babbar is releasing his first screen novel 'My
fiancee, me & #IFu**edUp on 2nd February 2015. He has also written a comic
book named Pushpak Viman.[1][7][8] he was in Bigg Boss 8 Season and evicted
Awards and nominations[edit]
Babbar won the National Award of the Journalist Association
for Upcoming Actor in Action. He was nominated at the Star Screen Awards in
Most Promising Newcomer - Malecategory for his film Ab Ke Baras.[9]
